A Power Tank is the fastest and most powerful portable air solution. With the power of CO2 you can air up faster, reseat bigger tires (tested up to 46 in.) safely, and run air tools at full power. To see what Power Tank performance looks like for your tire size, check out our tire air up chart. Based on tire size and amount of air you are adding, it will tell you how many tires you can fill on one tank and how quickly you can do it. As an example, you can air up from 15 psi to 25 psi on a 35 in. tire in 19 sec. and you can air up 30 tires before needing to refill your 10 lb. Power Tank! The same size tank can also remove 360 lug nuts using a 1/2 in. impact wrench before empty. When it's empty, take your tank to a local fire extinguisher service shop, welding supply store, or beverage carbonic shops, and have it refilled for about $15-$25.

NotePower Tanks can be mounted in any orientation as long as the valves are properly shut. If you plan to mount AND use a Power Tank in a horizontal position, add a snorkel tube.

When adding a Snorkel Tube to your Power Tank, you must choose a "clock position" or choose which way will be "up" when your Power Tank is on its side. If your Power Tank is horizontal but the Snorkel Tube is not facing "up" then you can allow liquid CO2 into your valve and regulator. This is harmful to your components and may void your warranty.

When looking at your Power Tank from a top down view, with your regulator facing away from you, your regulator is said to be at 12 o'clock. If your Snorkel Tube is clocked at 12 o'clock then, when using your Power Tank horizontally, the regulator must be pointing to the sky. If your Snorkel Tube is clocked at 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock, then the regulator will be pointing directly left or right when in use. At 6 o'clock, your regulator will be facing toward the ground. Once installed, you cannot change the direction of orientation without sending your bottle back to us. Think carefully about how you will use your Power Tank and which orientation will make it easiest to use.

The secret to this performance is Power Tank's Super Flow Regulators, adjustable regulator designed to maximize output pressure and flow rate simultaneously. Power Tanks boast a 45 cfm flow rate compared to the 5-6 cfm found in high-end 12v compressors. All Power Tank regulators are guaranteed to never freeze clog and are backed with a limited lifetime warranty. This is the only portable air system that will outlive the vehicle it's mounted to.

This incredible system mounts easily in just about any vehicle or you can swap out our Super Bracket for a Speed Bag to make storage even easier. The best part? This self-contained, compact system is portable and easily moved from vehicle to vehicle, walked down the trail to help a broken rig, or transported from the chase truck to the race car all without power cables or long air hoses to run.

This package includes everything you need to run air tools with our advanced universal safety Super Coupler and air up tires through a dedicated HD Tire Inflator with Gauge. It also includes a Super Bracket that makes a great base mount.

Power Tank is the only way to air up a 40" tire in under a minute and the only portable air system that can run air tools at full power!

Power Tank was first developed out of a need for fast, portable, reliable air for off-road vehicles with increasingly larger tires. The very first Power Tanks were made from CO2 bottles and off-the-shelf hardware in founder Steve's garage. 20 years of refinements and improvements later, Power Tanks are still made-to-order by hand in Lodi, CA but with much improved hardware and components like proprietary Super Flow™ Regulators, armorcoat CO2 cylinders, a collection of mounting brackets, bespoke hoses and couplers, a full line of heavy-duty tire inflators, and high-flow Monster Valve tire stems.

Power Tank also has a line of Nitrogen equipment for shock tuning, a set of off-road and marine focused propane tank brackets, ARB and air locker kits, and mini Power Tanks for quads and side-by-sides.

Not limited to off-road use, Power Tanks can be found working hard at construction sites, in towing service vehicles, and in all forms and levels of motorsport. We have contracted with the US Forest Service and the UK Military to provide tough, proven equipment that won’t fail in the field.

When you buy a Power Tank you get smart design, high performance, guaranteed reliability, and the best warranty in the industry.

Can I fill it at home? How do I refill my Power Tank?

Power Tanks are filled with liquid CO2 at various businesses around the country. Before purchasing your Power Tank you should find a local business that can refill CO2 on-site. Contact local Fire Extinguisher Service Shops, Welding Gas Suppliers, Beverage Carbonics, and Homebrew Supply businesses and ask if they refill personally owned CO2 beverage bottles. If they do, great! Even better if they have same-day or fill-as-you-wait services.

Some businesses will collect a group of customers' bottles and send them off-site to be filled. There is a high-chance your shiny new Power Tank will be lost or damaged in this process and should be avoided if possible. Some areas only offer tank exchanges where, like propane, you rent a cylinder and exchange it for a full one when it's empty. In this case, we offer Regulator Kits and you supply a cylinder.

We also keep a map of verified CO2 refillers and Power Tank dealers. This list is by no means complete and relies on data received by our amazing customers. It is constantly being updated.
